A day in the Life from the Beatles' 1967 Sergeant Pepper album was a technical tour de force in its day. This is how it was created in the Abbey Road studio:-

Condition wise, it’s super clean. No gouges or dings at all. If you’re really, really looking in the right light you might find some light surface swirls. Comes with the original hard case and eastman+acoustic shoppe paperwork.

I can also send more photos if needed

Asking 1250$ buyer pays shipping CONUS

This guitar was a gift Christmas 2024. It has only been played a handful of times. It's just too small for my needs. I was reluctant to sell as it was a gift. I kept it too long to return and wanted to like it to not upset the wife. She's cool now with me passing it on. This guitar looks new with OHSC. $895. Shipping is negotiable depending on where you live. Send email or text number for pics.

  Gigbag for Romeo
Posted by: plg - Forum: Eastman Electric and Archtop Guitars - Replies (1)

Has anyone found a quality gig bag that will securely fit a Romeo? Everything I have found either does not fit the lower bout or is too deep.
Thanks!!

  For Sale: DT30GACE, AC308ce-LTD, E6 LGSS.
Posted by: Tcamp - Forum: For Sale / Trade and Online Deals - No Replies

Long time reader, but infrequent poster. I am thinning the herd!

For sale:
DT30GACE - Grand Auditorium Double Top with SL Anthem pickup. Most balanced guitar. I inherited a sentimental Taylor 814ce - don't need both and am keeping the Taylor. $2K CONUS shipping included.

AC308ce-LTD Sunburst. Grand Concert body style, just a bit smaller than the Grand Auditorium. Mahogany back and sides, Sitka spruce top. Slotted headstock. $1K - CONUS shipping included.

E6 LGSS - Mahogany back and sides, sitka top. Has a Seymour Duncan Wavelength Duo pickup installed. Most comfortable body shape I've got from Eastman. I found an E10 LG from LA Guitars. I am a suckered for the varnish finish, so letting this one go. It's in good condition but does have a scratch in the finish on the lower bout. $950 CONUS shipping included.

PM me for more pics or a phone number.

I'd never even heard of a Martin 5-18 when I came across this :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pKLqzg2IPw
Never heard of the guitarist,
Grant Geissman, either but boy can he play! He does killer versions of El Paso, Yesterday and In My Life

  • Solid spruce top / rosewood back & sides

  • Tiny bit of visible glue around a section of the top binding, but completely stable and purely cosmetic
  • Original Martin case included

Larrivée OM-40 Legacy Sunburst - $1700 - A gorgeous Legacy Series OM with premium appointments and a rich, articulate voice.
  • Solid spruce top / mahogany back & sides
  • K&K Mini installed

Gibson J-45 Studio Walnut - $1700 - A fantastic players-grade Gibson with all the warmth and punch the J-45 is known for.
  • Solid spruce top / solid walnut back & sides

Happy to provide additional photos, measurements, weights, or detailed condition notes for any of the guitars. Local deals preferred, but shipping is possible at buyer's expense. Trades are unlikely as I'm actively downsizing.

  NGD: Eastman Romeo California
Posted by: grayn - Forum: Eastman Electric and Archtop Guitars - Replies (1)

I managed to get a preowned Eastman Romeo California, it is one of their original designs.  And I must admit that I've been looking at this guitar on the 'net for quite a while and thought it was not a good looking guitar.  But in person I was less sceptical and actually liked it's design and overall looks.  In fact this is one of the classiest guitars I have played.  And I have owned guitars from Suhr, Tom Anderson EBMM etc.  It is beautifully built and finished and has lots of really nice touches.  Ebony fingerboard, locking tuners, a 1.72" (44mm) wide, bone nut, half-circle pearl side dot markers and best of all, Bare Knuckle Old Guard Humbuckers.  Now this guitar comes with 11s on and this with the wider nut, gives a great playing experience, with so much tone and there's no stiffness, with very easy bending.  I suppose the Romeo California is somewhere between a LP and a 339 but still very much it's own thing.  It can really rock, get bluesy and would be an awesome Jazz guitar.  Now it's at home, going through my gear, I am really loving this excellent guitar.
