For sale is my E2DL, purchased new about 4 years ago. This is a lovely guitar, but it just doesn't get played much. It needs to go to a new home where it will be used and appreciated.

This guitar has always been in a climate controlled environment. It has never been out of the house. No lessons, gigs, or travel. There are no dings or scratches. The original padded soft case is included, along with its pedigree and truss wrench.

I am asking $600. The price includes shipping within CONUS.

My E40-OM (bought used) came without a pickguard. initially I didn’t think I wanted or needed one as I don’t play with a pick but I’m trying to branch out a bit and learn to. Holter has templates for theE10 and E20 OMs but the rosette diameter is larger in those by 1/8” by my measurements. I could have something custom made but I think I’m sold on the slightly larger size of the Holter OM guards that are available in various measurements.

What I’m still looking to determine is what placement looks best: lined up with the B string, or 1/4 to 1/2 way between the G and B. What do y’all think?

Hi folks,

I’ve just picked up a used T59v (third owner, I believe).

Serial number is 13650470, which should put it around 2016 if I’m reading Eastman serials correctly.

A couple of quick questions for the hive mind:

1. This one came without a pickguard — were some T59v’s shipped that way back then, or is it likely missing? No mounting holes in the top/side.
   
2. There’s a small but fairly deep ding on the treble cutaway, enough to expose bare wood. See attached files. Any recommendations for a DIY touch-up or drop-fill? I’m out in the countryside with no luthier close by.

I have just bought an excellent E3DE acoustic wonderful!, only issue are the tuners some are very tight and one is very light to tune and hard to keep in tune. I would like to replace them can any one advise me please. Also could anyone tell me what the model of the existing tuners are on my E3DE. Best Regards  Alan

I was remiscing about the time 55 years ago I first heard Astral Weeks on a trip with a brown eyed girl (... I much older now with hat on drinking wine and that scent of sweet Eileen comes drifting through the warm night air like Shalimar ...) and with me evermore om shanti shanti shanti. Van Morrison, Belfast's finest, recorded this in New York when he was a shy and nervous 23 years old with some legendary musicians - Connie Kay, Richard Davis, Jay Berliner to name but three. Prior to recording Van sang each of his songs a couple of times accompanying himself on guitar and then when asked what he wanted the band to play basically left them to improvise. For those who haven't heard this 1968 studio album* I strongly recommend you obtain a copy and play it through a good sound system! And apologies to Van the man for my personalization of his lyrics ha ha.

Used, in as-new condition. Saw it on FB Marketplace, drove to Santa Rosa to check it out. It came home with me.

Seller says it’s 2021. It’s not a TC, top looks like Adirondack, maybe? No certificate.

So far, I like it a lot.

Mint condition E20D-MR-TC asking $sold here to forum members (plus actual shipping).  I'm selling this because I have 3 Dreads and I want to offload one to fund a Lowden I have my eye on.  My E8D is well aged, well loved, and is not ever going anywhere.  We have completely bonded.  But it was close between selling this or my Collings D2H T.  Frankly the Eastman is of equal build quality in my eyes, and is a bit of a richer tone.  But I've decided to keep the Collings because frankly I've always dreamed about one and I want to see how it breaks in over time.

Would love to sell this to tried and true Eastman fan...we know what we have here in this brand.  And wow, to get a guitar of this build quality with these tonewoods at these resale prices??!! Buying 2nd hand is a steal!

but its one without the pick up 
but apparently its Thermo cured 
Its not listed on the Eastman website only with the pick up
any pointers
