[Question] The warmer Eastman semi-hollow?

I am in need of a semi hollow body guitar and currently looking at Eastmans because they get great reviews. I own one of their acoustics and it’s the best OM Guitar I’ve ever played. I was looking at the T386 because the price is so right but there are reports that it’s very bright. I already have a tele and a Strat so need some thing that has some warmth. I prefer something with the laminate top, but still have a warm tone and sustain. Can the T386 deliver? I owned a Gibson CS336. An awesome guitar but very upper midgrangy. I like the full sized 335 size.

I'm sure this depends on what styles/genres you prefer playing. When I stopped playing electric out and became a at-home-alone-practicer/player and went all acoustic and after 5or6 years of working a lot on old jazz standards on my electrics I've mostly been working on old traditional music coming from the Appalachian mountains, old Irish tunes well Old everything lol

I use a capo a lot, I really like the guitar tones capoed anywhere from 2nd to 5th fret especially. I like the open notes, pulloffs and hammerons, slides that can be achieved only by having open notes. These aren't possible when not using a capo playing a closed note in a  Eflat or rather sharp and flat chord positions with no open notes.

Never was into using full barr chords or power chords or rock even playing electric but then these chord shapes weren't used in old classic country, /new orleans/western swing and blues my likings but it sure has been enjoyable to get back to my beginnings for I had missed a lot in playing old traditionals on an acoustic.

EDITED: you're right Alan, my constant grumbling about my likes and dislikes is getting me nowhere but more gray hair. So instead of my usual deleting post I'll just leave it as this gripe! If Eastman made a small body all mahogany with 1 3/4 nut and a bit thicker neck profile I'd be in hog-heaven

as the few here know I'm wanting an all-mahogany Eastman bad but there's one big problem, Eastman doesn't make or intend to make an all-mahogany. Reading around on acoustic forums I've come across a lot of players that want nothing but an all-mahogany acoustic and own nothing but all mahogany guitars, hello Eastman ding ding ding

A very hard last few days.  She had been hobbling around with her back right knee arthritic and then her front right leg started to give her problems.  I thought it was her paw but X-rays on Thursday showed advanced bone cancer ion her shoulder.  She had been in pain and I didn't know it.  She was not very happy though she would perk up at the sound of one of her treat containers opening or at the door excited when I would return to the house.  She was the sweetest of all the Rotties I've owned (5) and they were all special. So sensitive and loving. Friday she was in such pain that I decided have her put to sleep.  

I am devastated and heartbroken and miss her so much.  I see her everywhere, in the yard and all over the house.
