AC308ce

Hi,
I've post this message in a wrong session, so I post it again here :

Hi,
First of all, sorry for my english (nobody's perfect, I'm french...).
I'm about to buy an AC308ce, which is a limited edition, ad I'm wondering about the real dimensions of this guitar.
It's no more on Eastman site, and I've seen a lot of very different things about the dimensions of the body, and about the scale...
If I'm not wrong, this model is not the same size as others Ac (slightly short), and the scale is 24"9 and no 25"4.
Am I wrong ? And what would you say about this guitar ?
Many thanks,
Gilles

Since, I've bought this guitar (yesterday !). I confirm that the body size is 15" and the scale 24.9". Does anyone know how much of this limited model have been built ? Do you know for more why Eastman never answer at any messages post on their contact page ?
Good day

It's very difficult to find any review of the new Romeo NYC.

Did anyone had the opportunity to try one? Any thought about it?

  T59/v Knob Replacement Question
Posted by: Drew2387 - Forum: Eastman Electric and Archtop Guitars - Replies (4)

Hello all! I am wondering if Gibson Amber Top Hat style knobs would fit on a T59/v? I wasn’t sure if the T59 needed 18/20/24 spline spindles to fit properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for your time

  E6-SS peg hole size
Posted by: Greg1075 - Forum: Eastman Acoustic Guitars - Replies (5)

Hello all,

First-time poster here. I recently bought a like-new second hand E6-SS TC at a killer price to complement my Martin D-15. It's a bit heavy, but I love the sound and flawless construction. As reported by others, the only negative thing are the pretty tight PingWell V93N tuners. I am considering replacing them with Grover Sta-Tite 18:1. The posts are 6.35mm, and the bushings 8.30mm.

I couldn't find the diameter for the E6-SS's peg holes on the website. Would anyone happen to know what they are? I'd like to know if installing the Grovers would require modifying the holes in any way (which would result in about the cost too).

Cheers.

Hi guys new here from Australia.

I'm picking up my new AC422EC-ae in the morning and feel like a kid on Christmas eve right now.

I currently have an E20d that I bought in 2012 that is still a great guitar but is about to be sold and also had an E20p for a couple of years, wish I hadn't sold it now.

I just about gave up playing at the end of 2019 when I contracted a severe ear infection that perforated an ear drum and caused me to lose significant hearing and gain some extra tinnitus as a result.

I sold off my J-45 and two classical guitars as well as a couple of teles and a strat and almost got rid of the last 2 but kept them but didn't/couldn't play them.

A few months ago I moved into gated community for over 50's and retired and as luck would have it a guy here has his own C+W band which has led to me to start playing again. I needed a new guitar I could plug in which is why I bought the 422 for now.

Fortunately my hearing loss has eased quite a bit and now have about 85% hearing which is much better than before and music now sounds clear and reasonably balanced to me, before it was unbalanced and muddy.

I' have forgotten so much of what I had learned before and now almost have to start again after the near 4 year break, learning songs and technique again but it's much easier this time round.

Cheers
