Do you prefer the 14" or 15" Thinline, and why? 

Is there any noticeable sound difference between the two?

Is one more comfortable to play than the other (both sitting and standing)?

I am tapped out, and there is no room at the inn. However, I always keep a keen eye out for certain Eastmans.

I used to own a 2014 E20ss that was just wonderful. And yes I moved it on. Back then these had the nitro finishes. They may have showed scratches easily, but they sounded great.

Am I likely to find this Eastman is lighter than my Blueridge BD-160? I hope so. Just looking for any insight based on your experience.

I'm looking for a used Eastman; condition doesn't matter as long as the price reflects that, for under 1000 bucks with a K&K or Ultratonic pickup.  I would love an E1/E2OM or slope, but I will consider any model.

Good morning everyone, lately l'm in love (or in GAS if you prefer) for an LOO, and I'm seriously considering Eastman. Unfortunately in my area I was only able to try an E1ooss Deluxe, which I really liked in terms of general construction and finish, but I found the sound very dry and “restrained”.
I was thinking of the superior model, the E10ooss thermo cured, but it costs twice as much, and I don't understand if the thermo cured adi top and the mahogany can really justify this difference.
Are there any other construction differences between the two instruments? Has anyone tried these two models and can give me their impressions?
Unfortunately I haven't even found any comparison videos between these two models...

Question here from an old folky guitarist who has a barely used Fender Tele. If I want to use it with an overdrive box and a separate distortion effects box in a manner which permits me to switch between them using a pedal is there a really simple device that would support this functionality? Ideally I would like to be able to activate one or the other or both boxes simultaneously using a single foot depression. Hope this makes sense.

I need this solved in a big way.  Haven't been able to play this guitar since I bought it a year ago because the buzzing is that bad. 
 =12ptI brought my Eastman acoustic to a music store tech because I was unable to get rid of the fret buzzing on the 3rd and 4th strings myself. I had delicately leveled the fret board to make sure there were no high spots myself, but the buzzing continued and so that's why I brought it to this tech.  He looked at the guitar and said it looks like the last 8 or 9 frets may be slightly raised so he said he would sand them evenly with the others using the 12 radius block.  I responded that a straight edge doesn't show any hump so he took out his straight edge and checked every string and fret throughout the keyboard.  He then remarked, your right, and that I had done a great job of leveling the frets.   =12ptYet despite seeing no problems with the last 8 frets using the straight edge he still insisted on sanding them down.  I felt uncomfortable with this proposal but who am I to question someone with 15 years experience. =12ptSo he went ahead and sanded down those frets and re-crowned them, and replaced the saddle with a non-compensated one.   Sure enough it did not resolve the buzzing, which he agrees continues to sound like fret buzzing.  He kept the guitar for another week saying he'd continue to work on it. =12ptToday he informed me that he can't figure out why it's buzzing.  He also advised me that he tried an old trick of soaking each hole in the bridge with crazy glue to which I responded, seriously, why would you do this without getting my permission to do so. =12ptSo now my frets are no longer perfectly level throughout the keyboard, the bridge holes are lined with crazy glue and a guitar that is buzzing more than ever.  I haven't taken the strings off to see if there's anything else messed up.  I am not happy.

Looking to purchase a T49V or 371 in classic antique finish. Either single or double pickup models will be considered. Please let me know if you have one for sale!
